We've been running Policy Lab events, hearing talks, and discussing the latest policy making ideas with colleagues from across the civil service and elsewhere. Finally to round off our busy week, the fifth edition of Civil Service Quarterly was published on Tuesday with great stories from the Welsh Government on implementing carrier bag charging, an interview with Duncan Selbie of Public Health England, DfID's international work on banning Female Genital Mutilation, and a book review - First Civil Service Commissioner and former Permanent Secretary Sir David Normington on the recently published 'The Blunders of Our Governments'.
