Civil Service

Notification: no OPM digital activity during purdah

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: News

As many of our readers will be aware, with the General Election on May 7th approaching, the UK civil service is now going into purdah. Purdah is the several weeks before an election when the essential business of government continues, but announcements and policy development stop, to avoid giving political advantage to any side. During this period of time, the Open Policy Making team will be inactive on our digital channels and social media: so there won't be any new posts here on the blog, the team Twitter and our individual professional Twitters will be quiet, and we won't be joining in any conversations on the LinkedIn group.

Thank you for reading and we look forward to seeing you again in May! You can subscribe to our email notifications of new posts or follow us on Twitter to find out when we're back.
